Seoul & Beijing: From K-Culture to Ancient Walls!

We had an incredible trip to Seoul and Beijing, experiencing the vibrant energy of South Korea and the historical grandeur of China! Get ready for a whirlwind adventure through bustling cities, ancient temples, and modern marvels.

Seoul History: We started in Seoul, exploring its rich history at Gyeongbokgung Palace, wandering through the traditional Bukchon Hanok Village, and browsing the arts and crafts of Insadong.

Modern Seoul: We experienced the trendy side of Seoul in Gangnam, visiting the COEX Mall and enjoying views from Lotte World Tower.

DMZ: We took a fascinating day trip to the DMZ, witnessing the unique atmosphere and learning about the Korean War.

Night Markets: We indulged in Seoul’s vibrant nightlife, exploring Myeongdong and Dongdaemun markets and sampling delicious street food.

Beijing Stopover: On our way home, we had a 27-hour layover in Beijing, which we packed with sightseeing! We marveled at the Great Wall, explored the Forbidden City, and stood in Tiananmen Square.

Beijing Culture: We wandered through Beijing’s traditional hutongs, sampling Peking duck, and experiencing the city’s unique culture.

This trip was a fascinating blend of modern culture and ancient history, from the high-tech energy of Seoul to the imperial grandeur of Beijing.
